- Successful leadership is preceded by a deep reflection of the managerial role and ones own attitude. Only those, who consciously choose to be managers, will lead consistently, successfully and passionately.
- Leadership means making decisions in "non-decidable situations"*. All other situations do not require leadership.
- Managers need to keep the balance between changing and preserving, between rousing to action and providing security, between understanding and confronting.
- There is no right way to lead, no "silver-bullet managerial style". Only those, who have a broad array of various behaviours at their disposal and who can consciously apply those, manage correctly and adequately according to a given situation.
